Hi , i was trying to add automatic video audio preview in dolphin and i got something that works fine with audio but i can't get it for video :

here there is a little screencast of dolphin , as you can see dolphin plays well the audio but it doesn't show the video , i have build dolphin and i have launched it by double click on /original/kde-baseapps-4.12.3/build/dolphin/src/dolphin , and btw terminal is not shown :S

I would suggest sending an email to kde-multimedia@kde.org and kfm-devel@kde.org regarding this - based on the output it looks like it could be a layouting problem.

You might also want to try a different Phonon backend to see if that has an impact.
