Years ago, I wrote a plasmoid for kde4 named interceptor with its engine, all written in c++, and now, since I can eventually run kde5, I intend to port my stuff to it.

Nevertheless, it seems that the plasmoids 5 are essentially written in qml/javascript, not c++. I don't know if it exists a tutorial about how to port a plasmoid 4 to 5.

Any idea/suggestion ?
