I'm a -git tester for Kdenlive and i have the issue that installing to non-standard location (-DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=) causes some icons to not be found and some settings (list of tabs in the UI, list of transcoding options) to be loaded from my non-git installation at /usr/share/kdenlive rather than /home/qubodup/src/klgitbranchbin/share/kdenlive/

I configure kdenlive using:

cmake .. -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/home/qubodup/src/klgitbranchbin

One hint a developer told me (see ticket linked above):

In KDE apps, the menus are defined from an xml file called kdenliveui.rc that file must be installed in a location that can be found at runtime [...]

However I'm a tester, not a developer and hope somebody familiar could point me towards what cmake parameter to use or what string to replace in the source if some locations might be hardcoded.
