In Fedora 23, I'm getting a crash that looks similar to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=355574, which supposedly has been fixed.
When I start fcitx configuration tool, "Configure Input Method", by right-clicking on the fcitx system tray icon and clicking 'configure', I get a message "QFont::setPointSize: Point size <= 0 (0), must be greater than 0", but it doesn't crash yet. When I click on "Only Show Current Language" to uncheck it, the tool crashes and dmesg gets an entry that looks like one of these: [ 4036.690417] kcmshell5[9629]: segfault at 7ffe90417ff8 ip 00007fd74259594b sp 00007ffe90418000 error 6 in libc-2.22.so[7fd742512000+1b7000] [ 4870.587948] kcmshell5[10382]: segfault at 7ffc0185ffe0 ip 00007f772ffaa1b7 sp 00007ffc0185ffc0 error 6 in libQt5Core.so.5.5.1[7f772fea0000+4c1000] [ 5108.926570] kcmshell5[10430]: segfault at 7ffff1ef9ff8 ip 00007f0ab6093c54 sp 00007ffff1efa000 error 6 in libQt5Core.so.5.5.1[7f0ab5ff2000+4c1000] I'm not sure how to get a stack trace. I googled for "kde get stack trace" and didn't find a straight, relevant, answer, the first two results being distro-specific. |
