Hi everyone,

I'm developing a pure QML RSSNOW plasmoid replacement for Plasma 5. So far I used XmlListModel to parse RSS news feed but it's not a best solution. I would like to use RSS dataengine like RSSNOW plasmoid used in Plasma 4.

Is there a reason why RSS dataengine isn't available in Plasma 5? I found out that its building mechanism is commented out in CMakeList.txt (https://github.com/KDE/plasma-workspace/blob/master/dataengines/CMakeLists.txt#L37). Is it because it's not ported yet? If so, can you point me to some documentation or example on how to do that, I'll be happy to try it
