Hello everyone.
I would like to change my desktop layout so I can place the icons where I want without a grid with preset positions. I tried to change the "/usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.desktopcontainment/contents/ui/FolderView.qml" file, paticolare the part relating to the GridView, but I do not know how to edit it.
Can someone help me?

You should find a destination to copy this file into your's home directory and copy it onto that directory. In next step you can edit file.
