I have no info in such a stuff. There are so called KDE applications (sources located at downloads.kde.org/stable/applications). At the same place there are a localizations. On the other hand each application has the Messages.sh which is dedicated to automate of an extraction of a translating strings from an apps. But I do not quite understand, what is the script, which do call this Messages.sh scripts? As far as I knows, this is the Scripty. But there is a couple of questions. The first: when and by who does this knownless Scripty invoked? The second: do the mentioned localization packages maintaned by hand or automatically? And the main: what should I do if I want to translate or correct a translation?

The main site of our translation teams is https://l10n.kde.org/
On the front page you find some documents that should describe the translation processes. If you have further questions, I suggest to use the correct forum viewforum.php?f=26 or their mailing list at https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-i18n-doc |
