Hello,
A couple of weeks ago I installed KDE Neon 5.8.8 - dumping MInt because of their imminent dropping of KDE support in their distro. Most things work fine except I have some problems with "konsole". - It doesn't respect the changes I make (eg. font size, copy-on-marking text) when creating a new profile and making it "standard". On the next boot, it reverts back to some default (with font-size too small, and all my changes ignored). - Also konsole always comes up with 5 sub-windows, even though I shut them before shutting down the system. I wonder what I miss - or are these bugs? ![]() ![]() Regards and thanks for any ideas H. Stoellinger |

I specified the name of my adapted profile as the "DefaultProfile" and also in Favorites.
Now it works o.k. - until the next reboot, when it reverts back to some other profile. When I "kill" the konsole window after boot and then start konsole with my adapted profile, the profile is honoured. In which places does KDE keep konsole's definitions? Thanks H. S. |

Hello,
I now adapted "profile 1" and now things are o.k. Before that, even though my default profile was a different one, "profile 1" was used on re-boot... A bug? |
