I'm trying to construct an open source post production workflow, and I'm running into some issues with audio. I'm trying to take my Kdenlive timeline and drop it into a DAW for mastering (specifically Ardour), and I'm only seeing information from back in 2015 when the option to export stems was first introduced. It doesn't appear that this topic has been touched since then. For what it is, it's fine (I can make it work for now), but are there any plans to add support for OMF or AAF files? Ideally, it'd be awesome to save any video/audio exporting until the very end of the workflow to reduce unnecessary compression.
Of course, OMF isn't open source, but maybe AAF could work?

Also, a more export-y route may be just to add an option to add stem handles and export by clip instead of exporting by audio tracks?

Maybe use the kdenlive forum instead of the developer forum.
