Hello, I'm unable to perform a build from a fresh installation with a fresh installation of debian 10 64 bit or ubuntu 19.10 desktop 64 bit.

The procedure described here doesn't work at all out-of-the-box, there are lots of packages to add, possibly CMakeLists.txt to modify, etc ... : https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved/development and I failed miserably.

Does anyone know the recommended operating system?

Is there a recommended setup for at least just build successful kdesrc-build ktexteditor and kdesrc-build kate?
