Hi All,

Well, I have grand plans for developing my own desktop arrangement and layouts - got some pretty neat ideas based on my experience with different UI's. Unfortunately, I'm still stuck with QT creator and breaking down the default plasmoids.

There are the errors, I would love to clear them - I have tried searching packages as suggested by @koffeinfriedhof in another thread, but unfortunately, I am still stuck. I have even gone as far to email the address in the Plasmoid, however I'm not hopeful for a reply.

I have the rest of the puzzle pieces, just want to start to experiment. If anyone has some suggestions how to find these missing packages and or solve the errors it would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

I can't sit still for long, so I ended up posting over on Reddit's KDE section to see if anyone would come up with an answer. The discussion was interesting, you can view it here:

https://www.reddit.com/r/kde/comments/j ... _plasmoid/

Basically what I've discovered is there are dynamically generated modules that make-up KDE's plasma desktop plasmoids, so QT creator can't see these modules and throws an error.

While the desktop is really customizable, if you want something more specific, it boils down to creating the basic outline of what you're trying to do and then build/save/test within KDEs own tools (plasmoid viewer), rinse and repeat.

I will post again once I have something grander than an idea.
