I would like to port (I think port is the right term) the cairo-clocks available at the KDE Store directly into Plasma widgets so that I can install the analog clock from Discover and have it work without problems. I had a cairo-clock on my desktop (glassy) a while back on open suse but it was a big hassle because of screen tearing and wanted me to install Compiz. I haven't been able to install cairo-clock on any distro I have used since then. If I could get someone to give me step by step instructions on how to do this I would be very grateful. Once I have done one clock I should should be able to add others rather quickly since the .svg's are already included in the cairo-clock downloads. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

It took me three days, but I finally have the clock that I want on my desktop. I still have some tweaking to do (I have a couple of shadows that are too long and other small things). It works directly in Plasma Widgets. I didn't want to use Cairo-clock because it is a resource hog and they don't update the repository for KDE. Now I need to figure out how to put these clocks into Discover so that they can be installed into the widget panel. I like KDE because of how much it can be customized but with the Analog Clock and digital clock the user is pretty much stuck with the clock that comes with the Plasma Style without a lot of hassle. This is what I would like to change. Here are is a link to screenshots that I've taken. Please let me know what you think.

I'm sorry this isn't an actual blue click link. I haven't learned how to do that yet.

I would also like to add more functionality to the desktop clock like being able to set alarms directly from the desktop clock.

Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ;D
