I'm trying to write a script to synchronize the sticky notes between my operating systems. To change the content of sticky notes in KDE Plasma, it seems the best way is through Plasma Desktop Scripting. My javascript knowledge is pretty weak so I apologize if this is a trivial question, but what would be the way to access external files from a plasma desktop script? Ideally I'd like to be able to make SQL queries to a sqlite database on the hard drive that has information correlating the ids of sticky notes in different applications, but I'd settle for reading from a text file.

I thought maybe the functionality might be in a QjsEngine extensions as those are mentioned in the Desktop Scripting documentation (though it spells QjsEngine as QtJsEngine), but I couldn't fine anything that helped me when i searched for those.

Any help that guides me in the right direction would be appreciated.
