I made a c++ plugin to expose Qprocess so that I can start pw-cli and pw-loopback with the arguments I need and everything is working as I expect it too. However i'm seeing it recommended elsewhere that I should use Kprocess for this instead of Qprocess. If it's working as is would there be any advantage to switching to Kprocess.
I'm guessing Kprocess would also require a C++ plugin to expose to the qml module just the same as Qprocess? I've read the Kprocess documentation....."saner defaults, more accessible API...blah blah don't use qProcess." Just wondering if I should bother if it works already. |
