After installing kdesvn-build, I modified ~/.kdesvn-buildrc, ran kdesvn-build and it built qt-copy successfully to ~/qt4.
Now, when I try to compile kdesupport, I get these errors:
My .bashrc has this line:
And my ~/.kdesvn-buildrc contains:
I'm using Slackware 12.2 and have not installed qt4 (I want kdesvn-build to use qt-copy instead). Hope this describes the problem well enough to get help

It may also help to set $LD_LIBRARY_PATH to the appropriate KDE 4.2 / Qt 4 library directories as well as $CMAKE_PREFIX_PATH to the base directory of your KDE 4.2 / Qt 4 installs. Somehow it i finding your system Qt4 CMake module, which with CMAKE_PREFIX_PATH isn't going to find your Qt4.
I use the following script which I source from my ~/.bashrc. You will probably need to adjust the paths though. note you will need KDEHOME, otherwise I cannot get KDE 4.2 to start up

Thanks
The problem with my setup was that the qmake binary from the qt-copy directory wasn't in my PATH. Though, I already compiled KDE4 successfully by following the guides at kde.org instead of using kdesvn-build. |

Glad to hear you managed to build KDE 4.2 If this issue is resolved, could you please add [SOLVED] to the beginning of the thread subject? Thanks in advance.
