i install kde 4.2 in opensuse 11.1 but the kde aplications dont show the text of menus



how can i fix this problem?

Never seen that before, however that is a problem in YaST, which is provided by openSUSE. Any steps to resolve this problem will be specific to it, and will need to be performed as root. I do not know how to resolve it, but people on the openSUSE forums will likely be able to provide a solution.

It is either a Qt misconfiguration or Font Cache corruption. These commands will remove both:

rm -rf ~/.fontconfig/ & rm -rf ~/.qt/ & rm -rf ~/.config/Trolltech.conf

Make sure to perform this at a virtual terminal, outside a KDE session.
