Hello. Im not a desktop apps developer, so i dont have any experience with DBUS, KDE and Qt programming, but i want to contribute few small KDE4 patches to my favorite Qt applications. I was looking about informations about KDE notifications handling in the google, but ive found only few intresting posts, any of them isnt easy to understand.
So my question is: is there any easy to understand (like for example PHP manual) manual about handling KDE notifications ?
If not, i have some questions:
1) How to turn off and on KDE 4.2 notifications via Dbus (i want to use it with when applications toggles fullscreen).
2) How do the same with Qt4 notifications?

KDE Applications use notifications through the KNotification API http://api.kde.org/4.x-api/kdelibs-apid ... ation.html

Using them directly through D-Bus should be possible as well, however I don't know if the respective interfaces are specified somewhere.

Doing it might be a bit difficult if you haven't done any Qt and Qt related D-Bus programming yet.
