Class to draw Circle Menu Background?

Sat Apr 04, 2009 10:42 pm
Hi!
I'm working on a Circle (radial) Menu for Plasma and KDE-Applications. (look here, the source posted there is not up to date)
The menu should have an icon and a larger background, when it is hovered.
Which class should I use for the menu-background?
QIcon, QPixmap, QImage, QBrush or a Svg-class?

Thank you for any help.

Probably Plasma::Svg so that you fit with the Plasma theme. You would probably want to render that on a QPixmap though and use that as the background however.

That is a nice idea "Plasma::Svg on pixmap".
So you don't think it is bad to use QPixmap as class-internal background-format.
Thank you.
