Hi ,
I wonder if it might be possible to use some of the slots and signals availabel on khtm to emulate the usage of a webbrowser and do requests on websites this way. I heard pretty often that Perl has some of these feautures thanks to the CPAN library but I think there must be a way to do that kind of things with KHTML too. Or is KHTML not what im looking for? Any other suggestions how you could interact with a website using c++ and the KDE libraries? thanks in advance

The Plasma developers prefer usage of QtWebkit at this time, using KIO to retrieve pages.

Yes, it is quite unfortunate, however KHTML does not have the needed support / quirks to allow usage of Apple Dashboard applets.
