Hey everyone I would like to do a Brainstorm plasmoid so that a lot of people can vote even without actually using a webbrowser.
For this I will need some help from the KDE devs surrounding the forums. Currently we send the title and the items of each new idea as a rss feed. I would like to keep on using the rss feed for what I am doing but for this I will need a way to also register the user over that interface (or another) as a valid KDE FOrum user and send the votes back. Rss inthis respect is rather a one way connection and maybe not completely applicable for it. If the KDE developers have any IDEA what to do or what else w e might need please post about it.

I think it's forum related, because there has to be an API (as far as I know) you can use to communicate with the forum.

I should say that I talked to the forum devs and webmaintainers and was able to get aknowleded by them.
They are working on an OpenDesktop interface for the forums this way. I will be able to communicate with them. So this problem is solved.
