[Solved] Contribution to KDE

Wed Aug 05, 2009 1:46 pm
Hello,
I created a runner called Amarok Runner and would like to add it to KDE. I read the SVN tutorials on http://techbase.kde.org. But there's a runner for searching the Amarok collection in playground: http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/playground/base/plasma/runners/amarok/
(My runner offers some other actions)
I would like to talk with the developer but there isn't only one.
It's my first contribution to KDE and I'm not very experienced with C++ and Qt programming so I don't know what I should do next.
Could anybody help me please?
Thanks in advance.

You probably want to subscribe to the plasma-devel and amarok mailing lists, and post your message there.

You can find the list of mailing lists here:

If it follows the MPRIS specification then it would probably be good for KDEBase, otherwise you may wish to ask the Amarok developers if you can ship with them.

It follows the MPRIS specification.
I mailed to plasma-devel and will wait for their answers.

Thanks :)
