DBus service and introspection

Mon Sep 07, 2009 8:07 pm
Hi!

I would like to create a DBus interface as described in that tutorial but I have two problems:
- it is impossible to register my service on the system bus : the function 'registerService' return false. I have no problem on the session bus
- when I register on the session bus, I can see it but I can not access on signals and methods. I have the following error:
Code:
Code: Select all
org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply (Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bussecurity policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.)

Were is my error?
Thank you for your help.

Registering on the System Bus requires special permissions, granted in the form of files under /usr/share/dbus-1/. Virtually all applications do not require System Bus access. User applications should always use the session bus.

Is it possible for you to post your source code?
