Hello,
I want to use KAuth and as far as I know I have to build polkit-qt from kdesupport for this (KAuth is built from trunk, too). But CMake doesn't find the dependencies for polkit-qt (polkit etc.). So my question is: Which packages do I have to install on openSUSE 11.1 and where can I find them in the right version? (it's no problem to build something from source, so that would be possible, too) Thanks in advance ![]() |

Where are you installing polkit-qt?
If you are installing it outside of /usr, then you need to set some environment variables to help.

I want to install polkit-qt from kdesupport (source, trunk). But cmakekde says this:
I think you got my ugly explanation wrong, sorry or I didn't get your post, sorry for this, too. BTW: I use a 64bit version of openSUSE. Qt 4.6 is self compiled. EDIT: I tried the commands you suggested, but they didn't work, even with lib64 instead of lib. Thanks although. ![]() |

At some point when configuring cmakekde you would have needed to specify a prefix to install everything to. What is that?

Have you installed the "PolicyKit-devel" package?

I have, but it was the wrong architecture (i586 instead of a 64bit). Thanks a lot for your help, because as I wanted to give you more information regarding to your last post, I saw the wrong architecture.
