so, i wrote this really cool app, but i can't say i'm a big fan of the default icon (blank page with a big blue question mark). so i made an equally slick icon for it. now, how do i set the icon?

You have to specify the icon you want in a .desktop file.
The icon needs to be installed by cmake. It'll put them somewhere in /usr/icons/...
