Hello there,
I'm a sporadic KDE user since version 1.0 Beta4 and I'm very impressed how KDE (SC) has progressed so far. Version 4.4 is really cool! There is however one feature I'm missing since KDE 3.5, that is http authentication using NTLM. My company hosts several IIS sites using NTLM authentication, every time I have to some work I have to fall back to either IE on Windows or Firefox. So my question is, since implementing myself would take me ages, is there any KDE developer who is willing to implement NTLM in the KIO http slave? In return I'm would be happy to sponsor e.g. some amazon gifts. Anyone interested? Regards, Jens Some details: the issue in the KDE Bug tracker: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=184588 An older implementation voor KDE3: http://lists.kde.org/?l=kfm-devel&m=109581190604960 |
