qt4_automoc (and cmake)?

Sat May 22, 2010 7:05 pm
hi - trying to build the latest version of KDE on openSUSE 11.2.

Latest version of KDE as in:

svn up kdelibs kdepimlibs kdebase

KDE has a lot of dependencies and I've resolved many already. DBusMenu is a new dependency and it's not yet in svn (as best I can tell). It's built with cmake. Here's what I get when applying cmake to DBusMenu:

Code: Select all
de-devel@linux-xwu5:~/libdbusmenu-qt-0.3.3> cmake src
CMake Error at CMakeLists.txt:36 (qt4_automoc):
  Unknown CMake command "qt4_automoc".

-- Configuring incomplete, errors occurred!
kde-devel@linux-xwu5:~/libdbusmenu-qt-0.3.3> cmake --version
cmake version 2.6-patch 4
kde-devel@linux-xwu5:~/libdbusmenu-qt-0.3.3>

Looking around the web, it seems that qt4_automoc may be a macro inside cmake. I have the latest cmake, and yet qt4_automoc doesn't seem to be there.

Hope someone can help.

Well, it's wasn't pretty but I got it done.

The problem is that I'm still learning cmake. Have been a programmer for some time but haven't tried to do anything like this on linux in a very long time.
