Hi
I have a Qt application with a QDrag event pending. If the user drop it outside of the window (at example on desktop) how can I handle that? I don't need to know where he drop the object but I need to know that he do that. |

It is up to the application being dropped on to handle the release... unless you are talking about the transfer of data to the application that was dropped on...

Thanks for the answer.
I write a card game and I use QDrag to drag cards. But if I release one of them outside of the game's window it became definitely lost. I need to know that the card is being dropped outside of the window so I can properly handle the error. |

Whilst I don't know how to handle this, you may wish to ask the KDE Games developers how they accomplish this. Their mailing list is kde-games-devel@kde.org
