Hi,
I need to make a C++ plasmoid that runs a specified command. What is the correct way of doing it? I know a lot of KDE applications use the KRun class which is supposed to do that, but to use it I need a parent QWidget, and I don't know that I could set it as in a plasmoid. Thanks in advance

There is a nice page on techbase about the topic: http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Arc ... r_Programs Most probably your case would be to use KProcess (at least, from the generic description it would seem that)?

Hello!, I've read the documentation but it doesn't get through my thick skull. Do you guys have an example that I can use?
