I want to develop Functional Testing Tool for Mobile phone.
I am a C#.net developer working on Visual Studio 2008. I want to develop this tool using the same plateform. For that I need Qt APIs which I can use. Can I use KDE? Can I integrate with Visual Studio 2008? Please guide me. Thanks. |

The first place I would look for the QT APIs is Nokia's site: http://qt.nokia.com/.
Doing some searching reveals qt4dotnet: a Google project that provides bindings for QT4 in .NET. As for using KDE libraries in .NET, I think the two closest things are that you can build KDE binaries (c++ code compiled into dlls) on windows (using VS), and that I believe there are packages to provide Mono (.NET on Linux) bindings for KDE.

While all of that is theoretically possible (have no idea what is the state of .net Qt/KDElibs bindings) making it all work on a mobile phone doesn't seem like an easy task.

The KDE mobile project is probably not at a state currently where this is advisable.
