i am very new to kdevelop.i am using this for c programming, in this i am unable to debug my program. In debug menu my start and stop options are activated bt next line and other debugging options are inactive. plz help....

"gdb" will need to be installed, and the executable running in order to generate a backtrace. It may need to crash first though.

Thanks ......but i guess gdb is installed .....i m totaly new to this linux environment .....so can you please tell me in detail how do i check if gdb is install ...and if gdb is not installed then how do i install it.

You can use your package manager ( not sure what the GUI based package manager is in Fedora, it is where you install KDevelop though )
