Apologies in advance sorry if this has been asked elsewhere or if I should've been able to find it out somewhere--- I searched quite a bit all around and google to try and find the answer...

I have a consistent crash I'd like to report for dolphin when selecting files on a media card, but I can't get the backtrace to give "useful" information. I installed the kdelibs5-dbg package, but there is no "dolphin-dbg" package that I can find. The crash isn't giving any useful debugging symbols right now, so it seems I need to install something more, if anyone could tell me what I need to install on Kubuntu Meerkat 10.10 (possibly of note, I'm using the new 4.6 from the PPA repositories, if that matters?)

Try to install the debug package for kdebase.

I have the same Problem.
I got the KDE-SC-4.6.0 about the lauchpad PPA backports.
I have some crashings of dolphin in combination with nepomuk.

On the 'launchpad PPA backports' (http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-ppa/backports/ubuntu) there are dbg-Versions like kdelibs5-dbg (4:4.6.0-0ubuntu1~maverick1~ppa2), digikam-dbg and amarok-dbg. But there is no dolphin-dbg for usefull 'Debug-Infos' about dolphin-crashings.

I tried to find a dolphin-dbg for 4.6.0 with some special search methods, but i can't find anything, but this question in the kde-forum.

I think the dolphin-dbg version is much more important than versions of amarok and digikam. So i hope the dolphin-dbg is coming soon.

(Sorry about so much 'I's in this posting, but probably it helps the kde-community)

PS: A kde-debug-package for 4.6.0 i can't find too. Please post the exact URL.
