I'm getting my feet wet in KDE (after many years of using it) development by looking at the old (2001) knewspost app. It's a QT2 based project and need lots of updates.
Since I can't see how it looked, I'd like some guidance on reading the old .ui format to try getting it up-to-date. |

Not sure if Qt Designer can still handle Qt2 ui files, but it might be worth giving that a shot.

Unfortunately, the latest QT Designer barfs on the old .ui file.
Does anyone remember what was the last version of Fedora or RHL that had qt2? I may be able to ressurect a VM with an old version. |

I got a version of RHL9 up and working in a VBox guest and got KDE3.1.x with QT2 working.
Looking at the UI in the designer tells me not to bother with the old application, I can probably spit a better one with some work on the tutorials. Thanks. |
