Hello everyone,

I am relatively new to development in general and shiny to KDE. I have looked over the repo and some code but have a number of questions. A fair amount of the code for individual plasma apps (such as kickoff) is fairly straight forward.
My question is, can I alter and recompile just the kickoff by itself, or do I need to get the entire KDE repo and recompile the whole mess to change a couple pieces of kickoff.
