My OS is:
I can't run akonadi. This problem has begun with last upgrade.

You need to install mysql server (unfortunately I don't recall the exact package name). After you have installed it just logoff/login again and it *should* work. |

Hi,
Had the same problem after the latest upgrade. mysql-files was missing from /var/lib. I just (re)created the missing directory, that was sufficient in my case anyway... |

I created the directory: /var/lib/mysql-files
