My review of KDE Neon

Thu Aug 18, 2016 7:58 pm
Let me first say, about 1 week into using KDE Neon and I love it! Neon has worked seamlessly out of the box. I have had no hiccups what so ever. Well, one perhaps, with the driver manager, but that was easily rectified with a few searches and commands. The xapian-index.
I have tried KDE many times over the years, and this is the FIRST time I have successfully used it and everything just works. Right before I tried out Neon, I tried Kbuntu -.-
My experience with Kbuntu lasted all but 2 hours before I wiped that drive and had this in its place.
The eye candy. Let's not forget that :D Oh how I have missed those useless cubes, lol. They just never get old.
Even setting up openvpn was a breeze, which hasn't always been the case in linux. Bam! Done!

To the devs, and everyone involved in making KDE Neon, you've done a fantastic job!! Yayyy! \o/
