Hi, my internal mic is not working. I have a Lenovo G50-70.
Pulseaudio is on and shows no error. I tried both skype and whatsapp web to check the microphone. In Kubuntu 16.04, the solution was changing the left or right channel of the mic to "0" level, but now pulseaudio don't show the option to uncouple the channels, so I don't know what to do. Any ideas? |

Avoid messing with the system options directly instead of using the KDE GUIs. Right click on the volume system tray icon (next to the clock), open the audio settings and see if you have this setting:
![]() "Duplex" means that both your buit-in sound input (microphone) and output (speakers/earphone jack) devices will work. After you change it to Duplex, click on the "Input devices" tab to change the microphone volume. |

I think it's a internal problem, you have to check by inside. Sometime inside wire will lose or disconnected that's why mic is not working properly. Do one think, open your mic and check whether wire is connect or broken. If it's broken then you have to joint them, after that it will work properly.
