Hi, I just installed neon, but I've run into a problem.

After successfully installing the AMDGPU-PRO driver using the solution in the other thread (I had already installed all updates before then), I rebooted and confirmed that it was installed. In the next session I only did two things. The first was to install flux.

The second thing was intended to fix the issue where neon takes a very long time to shut down. I saw on threads both on this forum and reddit that this could be solved by going into /etc/systemd/system.conf and changing "DefaultTimeoutStartSec" and "DefaultTimeoutStopSec" from 90s to 05s. I did so, and then rebooted.

Grub ran normally and then I went to the screen with the Neon logo and version name, which lasted for a few seconds. However, at the point when it would typically go on to the login screen, the screen went black and suddenly all my fans started going crazy; I've never seen them go so loud. I kind of panicked, so I powered down my pc after a few seconds of this.

At this point, I booted into Windows 10 (with no problems), mounted the neon partition, and changed system.conf back to from 05s to 90s. But when I rebooted, I had the same problem with the black screen and fans again.

PC Specs:
CPU: i5-6500 @3.2GHz (not OC) w/ stock cooler
Mobo: MSI B150m Mortar
RAM: 8GB DDR4 dual-channel
GPU: RX 480 8 GB
Fans: 2 Basic 120 mm fans, w/ 3-pin connector I think, connected directly and exclusively to mobo

The current text of my system.conf file is as follows. Please let me know if you see any problems in it.
