well, both political candidates are touting that they are going to tweet about the vp debate tonight and I thought I'd install a twitter candidate.
Corebird would not install and gave the aforementioned broken package as a reason. The only other app in the repos is choqok so I thought i'd use terminal and got a wad of stuff that needed to be autoremoved. Ok........ so I did the autoremove and I guess the aforementioned was buried in it somewhere because when I then installed choqok and did a reload the above was not listed as a broken package. A subsequent attempt to install Corebird, did, indeed, install the app, Both are functional. woodsmoke

Looking around in the IRC's I found this
https://irclogs.ubuntu.com/2015/06/08/% ... devel.html and searching within the IRC I found two items by Riddell by using this search term libKF5PurposeWidgets With this omment:
From what I can gather the package is "mainly" an .rpm. /srv/irclogs.ubuntu.com/2015/06/08/#kubuntu-devel.txt https://irclogs.ubuntu.com/2015/06/08/% ... devel.html Jun 7, 2015 - 100+ posts - 13 authors Riddell, libkf5purposewidgets package and libkf5purpose-data package, 19:31 ... these files get built but not put in any .deb package, 19:47. no clue, just what I found. woodsmoke |

still getting it, i've tried "removing" it but Synaptic want's to put it back.
At first, I thought that possibly there was text in the file that I could change, but then after I deleted and it came back the same, the idea didn't seem logical. woodsmoke |
