KDE Neon 5.8.0 questions

a. panel date:
i. can it be formatted like 01-Oct-2016 instead of 1/10/16
ii. time on top of date, can they be vertically aligned to the centre of the panel instead of the bottom

b. window boxes, can they be 'timestamp' sorted, most recent one to the right

a. you mean the digital clock, right?
i. right click on digital clock -> digital clock settings -> date format: long date
ii. you can move plasmoids as you like (right click on panel -> unlock widgets -> then click on the new handle -> move mouse over plasmoid you wish to move and drag'n'drop)
b. you mean the task manager? try: right click -> task manager settings -> sorting: Do not sort

Thank you for your input. I think Neon (now 5.8.1) is an amazing system and I have tried quite a few.
