Hi all,
I installed KDE Neon on July and I still have this problem on my PC (AMD A10-6700 APU, asus F2A85-M PRO, 4GB RAM, 750 crucial ssd). Now I have KDE NEON 5.8, PLASMA 5.8.1, KDE FRAMEWORK V. 5.27.0, QT V. 5.7.0, kernel v. 4.4.0-43-generic, 64 bit OS. I don't know if there is a name for this problem. So I show you a video and an image of what I see on my monitor. http://sendvid.com/076qqcb7 ![]() This problem happens frequently but NOT always. To solve it, I need to log out (end session) and log in again. The Windows appears/disappears slowly and piece by piece; sometimes it disappears entirely but after some seconds. And scrolling down and up on pages is jerkily (not continuously). In fact, Surfing on internet is a nightmare when this problem happens. Check this video: http://sendvid.com/tunl0ft5 What's wrong? How can I fix it? Thank you very much for your support Bye and thanks Maurizio |

This is probably problem with buggy graphic driver and not kde itself (on my intel card everything works well).
Try to change to xrender to see if it helps. If you want to continue to use opengl, try to upgrade to newest stable kernel from http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/ You can also test Kubuntu 16.10 live iso to check if you can reproduce the issue (16.10 ships with newer drivers and kernel than kde neon). |

First of all can you check if it happens also with a new user?
