Broken clock in Neon 5.8.1

Wed Oct 19, 2016 3:36 am
Hi all. I've upgraded to KDE Neon 5.8.1 a week ago and my clock widgets went crazy!
My timezone is +11, but Analog and Fuzzy clocks are 1 hour ahead and Digital clock is 2 hours ahead.
Also clocks in SDDM login screen and lock screen are both in UTC now.
Meanwhile system time is correct...

Anyone's experiencing this problem?

Ubuntu will reset your BIOS clock to UTC.

This will cause problems if you are dual-booting with Windows. See this post for a description and link to the subject.

You will need to manually reset your BIOS date and time to your local time on the first reboot.

That's not the case. Just figured out that latest tzdata package has broken zoneinfo files. I've downgraded to previous version and it got it fixed. Sorry guys, it is Ubuntu to blame, not Neon.
