Running apt update, I'm getting all sorts of warnings. Haven't done anything screwy with my system. A brand new Neon install.
Anything I should watch out for? All kinds of alarms are going off with this: REMOVING " xserver-xorg-video-intel"

I got that also on both laptops with KDE. First one with integrated graphics rebooted fine. Second one hasn't been restarted yet.

Today User Edition will switch from Intel graphics driver to Modesettings graphics driver, let us know if you have any problems

I am very confused about this change.
Hi I was facing a rather similiar issue. Sometimes on boot demsg shows me a segfault :
Output of dmesg: http://paste.ubuntu.com/23386861/ Output of cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log: http://paste.ubuntu.com/23386867/ I thought it might have been due to recent removal of xserver-xorg-video-intel-arbiter. So I tried to install it and then checked again. But the error remained. Now, when I try to remove it I get this -> http://paste.ubuntu.com/23386924/ . Somehow it wants to remove neon-desktop also. |

This change has brought heavy screen tearing to me. How can I get back to intel driver?
