Hello,

I am running KDE Neon with latest updates (Plasma 5.8.3 at this moment). Every time I start a new session, when I return to the initial one (ctrl+alt+F7) I get black screen saying that screen locker is broken and I should go to virtual terminal and run
Code: Select all
loginctl unlock-sessions

Any ideas how to fix the problem?

Thanks.

My roomate just had the same thing happen on her laptop. lol she freaked out. I ran the same command it said to run, and she hasn't had the issue since. She wasn't in virtual or doing anything other than the normal screen locking when it occurred. I shrugged, blew it off (meh..... linux ), and moved on. I suppose if it is occurring across the board with others, could be a slight bug.
Maybe file a bug report.

I have submitted new bug report to KDE team here:
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=372275

Anyone having same issue please comment there so that devs know how many people have the bug and maybe have more motivation to solve it.
