Some running app's icon blank in any task manager

I am using KDE Neon 5.8.3 on my HP Notebook 450. I am running netbeans application. Netbeans icon showing as blank icon in any of task manager ( like icon only or simple task manager). similarly, dropbox icon also showing as blank area in tray.

do yo have "libappindicator3-1" and "libappindicator1" installed ?

and I think I remember something about removing "sni-qt" ,,,,,but I have that installed as well and my Dropbox shows.

Right click on the start menu, select edit, find your program and check whether the program has an icon in the start menu

? and what dose resolvconf have to do with icons showing in the panel/system tray ?

@vinnywright,
I have no idea. Read the link I left, I had a black hole in the panel, the advice I got there. :)
I've seen too many unexplainable phenomena in the new plasmas. I have long stopped thinking whether something is logical :(

This might help the program but does not apply to widget
Second, by getting a separate launcher in the panel outside the Task Manager; in KDE4 this was done with the 'Add to Panel' option, which seems to be absent in Plasma 5. But the same can be done anyway by draging & dropping desktop file launchers (like those in /usr/share/applications) onto the panel.

netbeans icon is show in the task manager when application is not running. but when application is running icon gone invisible (a blank space). everything else seems to be working fine in KDE neon

I do not understand why this fact did not write immediately. You write that you Neon works well, does not have any problems. Clear program in panel and solve a problem, start program from favorits.

I mean, i can maximize and minimize program from task manager icon by clicking at it. I can hover icon to see the thumbnail. But only issue is the icon is missing or transparent. just a blank space.
