Some running app's icon blank in any task manager

mzainsheikh Registered Member Posts 5 Karma 0	Some running app's icon blank in any task manager Wed Nov 16, 2016 9:55 am I am using KDE Neon 5.8.3 on my HP Notebook 450. I am running netbeans application. Netbeans icon showing as blank icon in any of task manager ( like icon only or simple task manager). similarly, dropbox icon also showing as blank area in tray.

Read the link I left, I had a black hole in the panel, the advice I got there. I've seen too many unexplainable phenomena in the new plasmas. I have long stopped thinking whether something is logical

alideda Registered Member Posts 251 Karma 0 OS	Re: Some running app's icon blank in any task manager Fri Nov 18, 2016 11:05 am This might help the program but does not apply to widget Second, by getting a separate launcher in the panel outside the Task Manager; in KDE4 this was done with the 'Add to Panel' option, which seems to be absent in Plasma 5. But the same can be done anyway by draging & dropping desktop file launchers (like those in /usr/share/applications) onto the panel. edit. You write that you Neon works well, does not have any problems. Clear program in panel and solve a problem, start program from favorits.

I mean, i can maximize and minimize program from task manager icon by clicking at it. I can hover icon to see the thumbnail. But only issue is the icon is missing or transparent. just a blank space.
