user edition vs LTS user edition

I thought after LTS got released they would merge into one

it appears i'm mistaken

so whats the difference between the two please?

The LTS is using plasma LTS, 5.8 ans so on.....
The other is using ubuntu lts but with a more rolling plasma, 5.9 and so on.... If i am correct
