Broken dependency hell

Fri Dec 16, 2016 10:59 pm
I have a fresh install of KDE Neon with the 12-15 iso, and I got it installed and working just fine. I ran into an issue, however when installing ksnapshot. I'm not sure if this has to do with me doing a build-dep to compile a program or what, but now when I want to install ksnapshot, it's all just unfixable depndencies. How can I fix this? I've done apt autoremove, install -f and I think that's it. Could it be I have to remove the build-dep dependencies? I don't know how to do that if that's the culprit

I think ksnapshot is deprecated.

Did you tried spectable? (It's the replacement.)

Yes, Spectacle is the replacement for kSnapshot.

https://github.com/KDE/spectacle

`sudo apt install kde-spectacle`

should get the job done.
