it seems neon iso files are out of dated of 3 weeks ago!

currently blocked by a bug in apt which means it breaks while downloading icons. I've got a fix but it means forking apt which I'd rather not do but I guess that's the only way. A task for tomorrow I guess.

Is it not possible to submit one of those "SRU" requests (not sure how long it will take or even if it will be accepted) for ubuntu proper to update xenial repos with a patched apt with the bugfix?

ISOs are updating now. SRUs in ubuntu take at least 10 days and often much more to process but there will be one for this issue at some point soonish.
