I'm trying to boot the latest Neon user edition (neon-useredition-20170209-1018-amd64.iso) to an oldish Dell currently running the latest Mint. During the boot process it drops me out of graphics mode and down to a text mode login at the command prompt. I've used this same image to successfully boot Neon to other computers, so I'm assuming the **** integrated Intel Graphics are a problem. Is there a way to get KDE up from the command line so I could go in and edit the xorg file to work with my graphics?

You sure this old Dell has only integrated Intel GPU and not another GPU like amd/nvidia? Anyways, tried the "nomodeset" grub kernel boot option?
