plasma-mycroft install help

Sat Feb 25, 2017 7:46 pm
I have mycroft core installed but Im having problem with the directions for the plasmoid.

https://cgit.kde.org/plasma-mycroft.git ... a66f576c72

In part 2 of the installation directions,
+ + sudo chmod +x /usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.plasma.projectmycroftplasmoid/contents/code/startservice.sh
+ + sudo chmod +x /usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.plasma.projectmycroftplasmoid/contents/code/stopservice.sh
+ + sudo chmod +x /usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.plasma.projectmycroftplasmoid/contents/code/pkgstartservice.sh
+ + sudo chmod +x /usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.plasma.projectmycroftplasmoid/contents/code/pkgstopservice.sh

I get this error chmod: cannot access '/usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.plasma.projectmycroftplasmoid/contents/code/startservice.sh': No such file or directory

Did you encounter any errors while running "sudo make install"? can you verify if mycroft is available in the list of widgets after restarting your session and can be added to the desktop ?

I used Ubuntu 16.04 LTS and followed https://mycroft.ai/mycroft-gets-a-plasmoid/ . I had similar problem running:

bash install_plasmoid_kde.sh

After couple of hours of compilation It said: Everything is built and ready to go! After rebooted there is no Project Mycroft widget nor the directory /usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.plasma.mycroftplasmoid/contents/code/startservice.sh; thus,

there is no /usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.plasma.mycroftplasmoid/contents/code/startservice.sh

Any thought on things to try to get it work? Thanks.
