Option to disable touchpad

Sun May 28, 2017 6:11 am
It seems that in KDE Neon (5.9.5) in System Settings->Input devices>Touchpad there is no option to disable Touchpad :)

The Enable/Disable touchpad tab contains options for touchpad hotkeys (and these work very well - Thinkpad X220) and for disabling touchpad while typing, but there is no option to "just" disable it (so that it stays disabled, also between reboots - touchpad status set via hotkeys is not persistent. BTW, previously, when touchpad was managed by ktouchpadenabler, touchpad could be disabled via configuration file of this service - but it's no longer used). Am I missing something ??? :)
